Repair what is serviceable
Replacement is not always the fastest or most economical answer—especially for older or obsolete engines. Nauti Diesel assesses the component against available limits, identifies the damaged areas and coordinates the required repair process.
Typical components
- Cylinder covers and combustion sealing surfaces
- Exhaust valve seats, spindles and valve assemblies
- Cooling water jackets, O-ring grooves and corroded lands
- Connecting rods, bearing housings and mating surfaces
- Lapping tools, fixtures and purpose-made repair tooling
- Stud, thread and broken-fastener repairs
Defined inspection and reporting
Inspection findings are separated from the final repair scope. Where additional damage is uncovered after cleaning or measurement, it is reported before extra work proceeds. This keeps the repair technically defensible and commercially clear.
Specialist processes
Depending on the component and material, the work may include precision machining, grinding, lapping, metal restoration, crack detection, thread restoration, pressure testing or controlled welding through qualified specialist facilities.
